Hey There -
I’m Scott Davis, your friendly neighborhood senior executive in global operations, finance, and technology. With more than 20 years of experience (yes, I’ve been around the block a few times), I’ve built a career scaling organizations, driving transformations, and delivering results that stick. My leadership footprint is as eclectic as my Spotify playlist—spanning scrappy startups, mid‑market disruptors, PE‑backed firms, and Fortune 500 giants. If it involves growth, innovation, or turning complexity into clarity, I’m your guy.
Some defining moments in my career include
Exponential Growth: As CEO and Founder of BluWater Consulting, I led growth that would make a rocket ship jealous—annual rates of 1,526% (2006), 1,143% (2007), and 51% (2010). We landed on the Inc. 500 list and topped the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Fastest‑Growing Companies. Not to brag, but we were kind of a big deal in our own minds.
Transformational Leadership: I’ve led large technical teams of data scientists, engineers, and architects, and advised Fortune 500s on AI, data architecture, machine learning, and analytics (think Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse). If it’s techy and cool, I’ve probably rolled it out, scaled it, or fixed it.
People‑Centric Leadership: I’ve built high‑performing teams from the ground up, moving employee engagement from negative to positive NPS post‑acquisition and sustaining client NPS at 86%. Happy teams, happy clients—turns out you can make everyone happy.
Multi‑Dimensional Executive: From startups to global enterprises, I’ve navigated companies from seed funding to $60M milestones and beyond. I’ve run multi‑region P&Ls, cut operating costs by 45% while expanding margins, and delivered AI‑enabled workflows that scaled across continents. Think of me as a Swiss Army knife for business growth.
Successful Exits: I’ve orchestrated four exits to public, private, and PE buyers. My playbook blends strategy, culture, and execution to maximize shareholder value and ensure organizations don’t just exit—they elevate.
Currently
I serve as a Board Member and Interim COO/CFO for several organizations, including LIDO, Inc., a clinician‑led startup reimagining clinical study data capture and human experience. I help the team with finance, operations, and funding. It’s like being a superhero—but with AI enabaled financials and spreadsheets.
Beyond my professional journey
I find joy in family, hiking, camping, fitness, nutrition, cooking, live music, and travel. I’m also endlessly curious about AI and its potential to reshape how we live and work. In short: I’m learning to live my best life, one adventure (and one spreadsheet) at a time.

Chief Operating Officer | New York | 2024 - 2025
VC‑backed SaaS accounting services startup ($9.6M ARR, 48 employees) delivering AI‑enabled accounting, tax, and HR services.
As Chief Operating Officer at Hiline, I had the privilege of steering the engine room of a fast-scaling fintech company. For us, fintech was never just about moving money from point A to point B—it was about reshaping how people experience accounting, tax and HR services. My role was to make sure the gears of the business turned smoothly, so our team could innovate boldly and our customers could unlock new possibilities.
I led a team of sharp, creative minds and built an environment where experimentation and excellence could thrive side by side. Challenges weren’t roadblocks—they were raw material. Whether it was rethinking our delivery model, sharpening our customer success playbooks, or embedding AI into our workflows, I focused on turning complexity into clarity and momentum.
At Hiline, we set out to do more than provide financial services—we wanted to empower people, inspire innovation, and fuel the future of digital finance. My job was to make sure that vision wasn’t just aspirational, but operational. Every process, every initiative, every client interaction had to move us closer to that future.
